Sometimes in the winter time we forget to breathe. I mean that metaphorically of course. We forget to sleep, eat, cry, smile, be sad, take a shower, talk, or walk. Winter is always busy. Always stressful. The presents, the family, the cooking, the money. The time we spend worrying about what we are going to buy family members. Sometimes it feels as if time had almost stopped right at the point where we are going to fall off the edge of the cliff and land at the rocky bottom.
Although the time we wake up on Christmas morning we forget all about that. We wake up to find that time has begun again, and the cliff we were standing on turned into a bed of feathers with no rocky bottom. Soon we remember to breathe, eat, sleep, cry, smile, be sad, take a shower, talk, and walk. The time we spend with family is unforgettable and we know that the days of the holiday stress will pass.
Then, while were tucked safe in bed. We remember, there's another year ahead....
*I don't know if this makes much sense but, here it is.*
